ABOUT

BACKGROUND

I grew up watching the NBA in one of its greatest eras– 1990s. I grew up watching some of the all-time greats: MJ (and also the 90s Bulls), Hakeem, Barkley, the Admiral, Reggie, Clyde the Glyde, Nique, Scottie, Shaq in his youth, Ewing, and of course, Stockton + Malone. I watched baggy shorts become the industry standard, ever-increasing fast breaks ending in exclamation point dunks, and even team offenses shift from 5 guys to 1. In college, I followed the Celtics through their two surprising/disappointing playoff runs, but was hoping for more… I got that MORE in 2008 when the Celtics raised banner #17. This blog is a manifestation of the enjoyment I get from following the Celtics in the great sport of basketball.
