First it was all the Rondo rumors and then Danny slamming him in public and then denying all the rumors and trying to make nice. Then there are the Ray rumors, which Danny also denies. Now there is the Leon debacle, which is so wrong on many levels as you have pointed out. Now there is the Sheed courtship and Artest signing with LA. It's all kind of surreal. Leon was led to believe that the Celtics would re-sign him. Your points are very valid in that Danny kept players on the bench last year who didn't contribute and never would. At least we know that Leon will be back around the All Star break. Leon played hurt in the playoffs to help this team. He played for 3 minutes on a torn ACL. This kid is all heart and not bringing him back is going to give this team a ton of bad karma. Big mistake, Danny. I think this is one of the biggest mistakes that Danny has ever made.
